Innovative Health Initiative Call Days & Matchmaking Events - Call 4
The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has recently published draft information on future calls ahead of official publication to give applicants additional time to prepare a strong proposal. Find more information here.
The upcoming IHI Call Days will provide potential applicants with the information they need to put together a strong proposal, and give them the opportunity to identify and meet partners for their consortia.
In the series covering Call 4 (two stage call), the following webinars are scheduled:
- Wednesday 18 January 2023 - 10:00-11:30: Info session Rules and procedures
- Wednesday 18 January 2023: Session on Topic 2: Patient-centric blood sample collection to enable decentralised clinical trials and improve access to healthcare
- 14:00-15:30 - Info session
- 15:30-16:30 - Matchmaking session
- Thursday 19 January 2023: Session on Topic 1: Expanding translational knowledge in minipigs: a path to reduce and replace non-human primates in non-clinical drug safety assessment
- 10-11:30 - Info session
- 11:30-12:30 - Matchmaking session
You can hold matchmaking meetings via the platform at any time until the deadline for submitting proposals.

ERC grants awarded to professor Inez Germeys
Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
