About this programme
This cluster will try to stimulate European growth in the key areas of digital, industry & space and make sure most of its future production (entire value chain) will be happening in the EU so the member states become less dependent of third countries. Increased sustainability of the delivered products is at the heart of these efforts.
As a result, actions under this cluster will support key enabling technologies that are strategically important for Europe’s industrial future. They have selected 6 focus areas or destinations that reflect these strategic domains:
- Climate neutral circular and digitized production
- Increased autonomy in key strategic value chains for resilient industry
- World leading data and computing technologies
- Digital and emerging technologies for competitiveness and fit for the Green Deal
- Open strategic autonomy in developing, deploying and using global space-based infrastructures, services, applications and data
- A human-centered and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies.

Circusol - Circular Business Models for the Solar Power
Circusol is an Innovation Action project funded under a cross-cutting work programme part of Horizon 2020. Circusol aims at unleashing the full potential of circular business models, in particular Product-Service Systems, in simultaneously delivering real environmental, economic and user benefits. By that, Circusol aims to establish solar power as a spearhead sector in demonstrating a path driven by service-based businesses towards a circular economy in Europe.
