Background info:Europe's Rail JU is a public-private partnership in the rail sector, co-financed by the Horizon Europe programme, funding research and innovation and harmonising standards to deliver the railway system of the future. One of its main goals is to help create a Single European Railway Area. It aims to deliver, via an integrated system approach, a high-capacity, flexible, multimodal, sustainable, reliable and integrated EU railway network for European passengers and cargo. It's the successor of the Shift2Rail partnership.
