Globalstars call for projects with Kenya in the fields of sustainability or health (EUREKA)

This call opened on 31 January 2023. The deadline is 30 April 2023.

By participating in the Eureka call, Flanders wants to encourage companies to carry out development projects with partners from the participating regions within the domains of sustainability or health. 

The target group are Flemish companies that wish to develop a joint development project with Kenya. Your project consortium must include at least one enterprise from one of the Eureka member countries participating in the call (see below) and a research organisation/university combined with a company from Kenya.

The maximum support amount for the Flemish project part is a maximum of € 500 000.

  • 31 January 2023: opening call
  • 30 April 2023: submission deadline EUREKA
  • 26 May 2023 (12:00): deadline submission VLAIO project proposal
  • VLAIO decisions: from September 2023

Participating countries: Kenya, Belgium (Flanders), Estonia, Finland, France, Spain, Austria & South Africa

Atlas Integratie & Inburgering Antwerpen is an autonomous agency and a non-profit organisation responsible for implementing the Flemish integration policy on behalf of and for the City of Antwerp. Atlas offers several types of services for newcomers and Antwerp’s public and non-profit organisations.

In 2018, under the leadership of HafenCity University Hamburg, Atlas participated in the H2020 call 'Addressing the challenge of migrant integration through ICT-enabled solutions'. The proposal 'MICADO - Migrant Integration Cockpits and Dashboards' was approved by the European Commission and the project started in January 2019 and runs until June 2022.
