Horizon Europe Widera Work Programme 2023-2024 amendment - Strengthening the European Research Area
The Commission has adopted an amendment to the ‘main’ Horizon Europe work programme 2023-2024.
The adopted work programme texts and an overview of the details of the amendments have been made available on the Funding and Tender Portal under reference documents here.
Main changes under the destination ‘Reforming and enhancing the EU research and innovation system’ of the Horizon Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area (Widera) 2023-2024 work programme:
- Temporary removal of WIDERA-2024-ERA-01-02 and HORIZONWIDERA-2024-ERA-01-06. To be updated and reintroduced with a future amendment.
- Gender equality topics, revision of the text of:
- HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-ERA-01-11: ‘Support to the implementation of inclusive gender equality plans’;
- HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-ERA-01-10: ‘Policy coordination to support all aspects of inclusive Gender Equality Plans and policies in the ERA’;
- The prize ‘EU Award for Gender Equality Champions’;
- Public procurement of ‘Monitoring gender equality in Research and Innovation - Development, implementation and dissemination of indicators (She Figures)’.
- Under other actions, grants to identified beneficiaries:
- An update of legal entities for identified beneficiaries ‘European Science in the City next generation’; ‘European Union Contest for early-career researchers’; ‘European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) 2024’.

Limecraft - Powerful workflows for video products
If you’ve never heard of Limecraft, you’re clearly not working in the media sector.
