In the context of Horizon Europe and Digital Europe, five Spanish regions are spearheading a mission to Brussels from May 27th to May 30th. This strategic gathering is designed to foster direct interactions with the European Commission, as well as to facilitate valuable connections with Flemish companies and organizations.
The Spanish delegation will consist of 33 organizations from diverse sectors including:
- Agrifood
- Energy
- Health, Pharma and Life Sciences
- ICT
- Manufacturing and Industrial Processes
- Nanotechnology and Materials

- Matchmaking Session: May 28th, from 10:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Location: Thon Hotel Brussels City Center

These entities are keen on exploring partnership opportunities and sharing expertise with Flemish enterprises. SeaFoodTomorrow - improving the safety and dietary properties of seafood
The Project SeafoodTomorrow is a project that is approved within the call BG-08-2017: Innovative sustainable solutions for improving the safety and dietary properties of seafood.
The three-year SeafoodTomorrow project brings together 34 partners. From Flanders, ILVO takes part in the project.They are responsible for setting up two databases which are the central point of the project to gather all the project data from analysis and assessement. ILVO is also leader of the workpackage dealing with authenticity, traceability and labelling. ILVO is also involved a the workpackage about novel food preparation. And in the managerial part, ILVO is head of the IPC- Intellectual Property Comité.
