EIT Digital has launched a competitive programme to empower European deep tech scale-ups by providing support for securing Series A and B funding. The competition invites fast-growing companies, with the promise that the selected "champions" will be backed in their growth journey. Deep tech enterprises across Europe, particularly those with unique digital offerings, are encouraged to apply by January 30, 2024. The chosen finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas to an esteemed international investor panel, aiming to secure the vital funding needed for their expansion.
The EIT Digital Champions competition is not just a recognition platform; it's a gateway to a comprehensive 12-month program called EIT Digital Growth Services. This program is tailored to equip the selected companies with the essential tools for success. It includes support in refining their pitch, establishing connections with a network of over 1000 investors across Europe, and navigating the complexities of raising their next funding round. The Growth Services team, known for their expertise in guiding scale-ups, understands the nuanced preferences of investors, ensuring that Champions are well-prepared to articulate their value propositions effectively. Furthermore, the competition places a spotlight on European deep tech start-ups with a proven track record of commercial traction, emphasizing the need for additional capital to fuel expansion into new markets.
