Incubator & grants for Data driven startups and scaleups
The EU funded REACH Incubator is running its 3rd and final open call for data driven startups, to facilitate the development of trusted and secure innovative solutions based on industrial and personal data.
The opportunities of this call comprise
- Up to €120,000 equity free funding
- Access to 15+ large corporations and their industrial datasets
- Digital and business mentorship and training
- Free access to big data tools and computing infrastructure
- Flagship event attendance at events like Slush and WebSummit
Information on the open call and the application process can be found on the REACH Incubator website.
Deadline to apply is 21st February 2023 at 5 PM CEST (Brussels Time).
An information webinar is organised on 20 January 2023 at 10am. More information on the webinar and possibility to register can be found on on the event website.

BEAT-AF - Ground-Breaking Electroporation-based intervention for Atrial Fibrillation treatment
The Horizon2020 project BEAT-AF brings together 9 European renowned clinical centres in France, Belgium, Czechia, Germany and Austria. Together, the consortium strives to revolutionize Atrial Fibrillation (AF) treatment through catheter ablation and contribute to decrease the huge burden of AF in Europe. The BEAT-AF project kicked off in 2021 and will run until 2026. The department of electrophysiology of the AZ Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges is partner in the project and has so far contributed to the pre-clinical development, the first in man studies and first registries of the revolutionary AF treatment put forward by the consortium. The first pilot studies show that the treatment is safe, effective and efficient.
