The Commission has publised the Transition Pathway for the Agri-Food industrial Ecosystem
The pathway is a co-creation of the Commission, Member States, Industry and others stakeholders like NGOs.
It is meant to identify challenges and opportunities and proposes actions towards a competitive, sustainable, resilient and fair EU agri-food system.
The pathway also promotes the EU Code of Conduct on Responsible Food Business and Marketing Practices and encourages collaboration between different business support organisations.
The pathway published on march 13th 2024 presents EU policies and programmes that can be mobilised to support the transition towards a green, digital and resilient EU agri-food industrial ecosystem, and invites national and regional authorities to also mobilise their policies accordingly.
To facilitate this the Commission will set up a Transition Pathway Stakeholder Support Platform.
