What to expect in 2024 in the evaluation of ERC grant proposals
Besides announced changes in the evaluation forms and processes, new panels and the introduction of lump sum funding for Advanced grants further details have been shared on research assessment, the evaluation process, lump sum funding, as well as the tentative schedule of the upcoming grant competitions. The 2024 ERC Work Programme is expected to be formally adopted and published in July 2023.

ERC grants for UGent professor Lieven Eeckhout
Professor Lieven Eeckhout’s main research interests include computer architecture and the hardware/software interface with a specific emphasis on performance evaluation and modeling, and dynamic resource management.
Professor Eeckhout is the recipient of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting grant, Advanced grant and three Proof of Concept grants. Two of his former PhD students founded in 2013 CoScale, a spin-off in data center monitoring, which was acquired by New Relic.
