New European Partnership for Personalised Medicine established & pre-announcement first call
The newly launched European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (EP PerMed) aims to improve future healthcare for all citizens through personalised therapy, diagnosis and prevention. With a total budget of around €375 million, provided by the EU & more than 50 partners, EP PerMed will significantly support the transnational development of personalised medicine approaches over the next ten years as well as their successful translation into clinical practice.
A preliminary announcement for the first joint transnational call for proposals (JTC2024) has now been published. JTC2024 will aim to fund research that fosters the identification or validation of targets for personalised medicine approaches. The call calendar, including the deadline for pre- and full-proposal submission, will be available soon. The call is expected to be launched beginning of January 2024.
Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) and Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO) will participate in this call. More information on available funding for researchers based in Flanders and on how to apply will become available once the call has been officially launched.
